Ruben Oseguera Gonzalez, "El Menchito", was captured by Federal Forces on the morning of 23rd of June in Zapopan, Jalisco, considered to be the second in command of the CJNG, only operating under his father Nemesio Oseguera "El Mencho".
According to reports by the Authorities in charge of security, Oseguera Gonzalez, 25 years of age, is the financial operator of CJNG, resulting in his first detention in 2014, in the metropolitan zone of the Jalisco capital, who had 25 million pesos and large calibre fire arms.
El Menchito, also was responsible for ordering executions of rival groups, a situation that he could be linked to the crimes of homicide in more than 70 bodies exhumed from clandestine graves in Jalisco.
Ruben Oseguera illustrates the case of sons of high capos that follow in the activities of their fathers and carry wide powers within their criminal structure of their groups.
The sons of Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada: Serafin and Ismael
At the end of 2014, an operation was carried out in a village known as El Salado, on the outskirts of Culiacan, Sinaloa, led to the capture of Ismael Zambada Niebla, son of "El Mayo" Zambada, the historic leader of the Sinaloa cartel, who is currently in CEFERSO no 1 Altiplano.
In the case of Serafin Zambada, he is being held in he custody of the United States authorities and in 2015 was declared guilty of conspiracy to traffic drugs into that country, he is currently awaiting sentencing this year.
Before his detention, Serafin Zambada was showering gifts on his girlfriend, which ranged from luxury vehicles to a Lion. In September of 2014, he was declared guilty before a United States Court for the crime of narco trafficking.

In 2009 the PGR detained the other son of "El Mayo" Zambada, Vincente Zambada Niebla, alias "El Vincentillo", together with his bodyguards in the Jardines del Pedregal Colonia in Mexico City, while in charge of logistics and security of the Sinaloa Cartel.
The son of the narco trafficker was extradited to the United States, where he faces justice for crimes relating to narcotics trafficking.
